"And even if our
Gospel is veiled, it is
veiled to those who are
perishing, in whose case
the god of this world
has blinded the minds of
the unbelieving, so that
they might not see the
light of the Gospel of
the glory of Christ, who
is the image of God." 2
Cor. 4:3-4
Here are a few Bible
truths that the devil
does not want you to
know.
1. The Bible defines sin
as breaking God’s Law, -"Sin
is the transgression of
the Law." (1 John 3:4)
2. The Bible says that
the person who commits a
sin must die, -"Behold,
all souls are Mine. .
.the soul who sins will
die." (Ezek.18:4) This
was also the teaching of
the Apostles, -"The
wages of sin is death."
(Rom.6:23)
3. The Bible says that
without the shedding of
Blood there can be no
forgiveness for sins, -"According
to the Law, one may
almost say, all things
are cleansed with blood,
and without the shedding
of blood there is no
forgiveness." (Heb.9:22)
4. The Bible says that
the sacrifice of animals
have never atoned for
the sins of people but
served only to remind us
of our sins, -"It
is impossible for the
blood of bulls and goats
to take away sins."
(Heb.10:4)
5. Jesus said that He
did not come to do away
with God’s Law and that
it would be in force
until heaven and earth
pass away. Therefore,
the Law will still be in
force on Judgment Day.
(Matt.5:17-19)
6. Jesus said, -"If
you love Me, you will
keep My Commandments."
(John 14:15)
7. Jesus said, -"If
you keep My
Commandments, you will
abide in My love; just
as I have kept My
Father’s Commandments
and abide in His love."
(John 15:10)
8. The Apostle Paul
said, -"What
matters is the keeping
of the Commandments of
God." (1 Cor.7:19)
9. The Bible
says that faithful
Christians keep the
Commandments of God, -"Here
is the perseverance of
the saints who keep the
Commandments of God and
their faith in Jesus."
(Rev.14:12)
10. The Bible
says that we will be
judged by God’s Law, -"So
speak and so act as
those who are to be
judged by the Law of
liberty." (James 2:12)
11. The Bible says that
we come to know God by
keep His Commandments.
(1 John 2:3)
12. The Bible says that
those who refuse to obey
God’s Commandments do
not really know God. (1
John 2:4-6)
And the devil certainly
doesn’t want you to know
that God loves you with
an everlasting love and
that He desires all
people to come to
repentance that they may
receive salvation.
The
devil wants you to
believe that you can sin
and escape hell, but
this is a lie.
The devil wants you to
believe that the love of
God is tolerant of sin,
but this too is a lie.
God is righteous and
just and His justice
demands judgment. But He
is also merciful and
patient and has offered
His own Son to suffer
and die for your sins.
The devil wants you
to believe one of two
things,
1. That you have
sinned too much for God
to forgive you - 2. Or
that God loves you too
much to condemn you to
hell even if you do not
submit to Him.
The truth is, God
forgives us and washes
our sins away in order
to draw us near to Him.
This is why we must come
to see the wickedness of
sin and how it separates
us from the holy God who
loves us. All must
confess their sins and
humbly come to Him with
a repentant spirit,
trusting that He is
faithful to forgiven
them.
